Description
ADB is helping Afghanistan upgrade ageing irrigation systems to increase agricultural production in Kunduz and Takhar provinces, considered the breadbasket of the country. The project will improve water resources management in the Lower Kokcha Irrigation System. It will rehabilitate and improve the Shahrawan and Archi main canals.
